Goal of the Proposal
The goal of this branding proposal is to help Steven connect with his audience on a deeper level and expand his reach. As a streamer, he has already gained a reputation for his unique and insightful perspective on important topics, and it is this quality that sets him apart from others in the market.

By establishing a strong brand identity that effectively communicates his core values and beliefs, Steven will be better able to connect with his audience and attract new viewers. 

The visual language of the brand will help to reinforce the company’s commitment to authenticity and nuance, and create a culture that encourages critical thinking and open-mindedness. CONCEPT ONE
The Memer
Gamer    |    Bi-Sexual Lighting    |    Casual

CORE CONCEPT
This concept consists of the current branding of “Destiny” as a gamer and streamer, which his current audience is familiar with. The memer has been built up over time, and has become synonymous with his online presence. It embodies his playful and humorous approach to streaming, and reflects his ability to engage his audience with his content. The memer is focused on being relatable, and building a strong connection with his viewers. He has established a loyal following who appreciate his authentic and honest approach to politics streaming, and look to him for entertainment, laughter, and a sense of community. Overall, the memer is a key aspect of Destiny’s brand, and will continue to play a central role as he expands his reach and grows his audience.

COLOR
Chosen colors are reminiscent of “Destiny’s” current “bi-sexual lighting”, with the dominant colors being black and grays, with contrasting the brighter rs8 blue, purple and orange.

TYPE
For display and headline type, a font that is similar to the “Destiny” typographic logo paired with a clean and simple san-serif font for body copy is the best fit for this concept. 

IMAGERY
Keeping in line with the current branding, this concept focuses on images commonly seen in the gaming community, pixel art and illustrations.

TEXTURE
The texture of metallic, high gloss paint or plastic is a fitting choice for this concept, as it conveys a modern and sophisticated image. The reflective surface also creates a dynamic and eye-catching visual effect, which can help the brand stand out in a crowded media landscape.
CONCEPT TWO
The Traditionalist
Classic    |     Patriotic    |    Professional

CORE CONCEPT
Though this concept is in stark contrast with the others, it’s still a good representation of Steven’s goals and values. The Traditionalist concept prioritizes a professional and classic look, with a focus on patriotic colors. This concept aims to evoke a sense of trust, stability, and reliability, drawing on timeless design elements that have proven to be effective in the past.

COLOR
Classic patriotic colors evoke feelings of pride, loyalty, and tradition, making them a natural fit for the traditionalist concept. The use of these colors help the brand project a strong, stable, and professional image, while also connecting with viewers on an emotional level. 

TYPE
The typeface of the brand is sleek and refined, with clean and simple typography that is easy to read and recognizable.

IMAGERY
Imagery, such as the American flag, national monuments, government buildings, and historical landmarks, evokes a sense of patriotism, stability, and timelessness.

TEXTURE
The texture of the brand would likely be matte or semi-gloss, giving it a sophisticated and understated feel that speaks to the brand’s commitment to professionalism and expertise.

The Edgelord

CORE CONCEPT
This concept is focused on capturing the raw energy and passion that drives the brand’s approach to informing and analyzing current events. The ultimate goal of the edgelord  is to create a brand image that speaks to a passionate, rebellious, and socially conscious audience that is looking for a media company that doesn’t shy away from tackling difficult topics and challenging conventional wisdom.

COLOR
For the edgelord concept, colors would be bold and intentionally rebellious to reflect the brand’s focus on being a rebel and challenging the status quo. Dark, muted colors like black, dark blue, and dark green are often associated with the grunge aesthetic, and would be incorporated to give the brand a moody, intense feel. To add a pop of passion, brighter and more unconventional colors like electric blue, red, or yellow could also be used. The use of color in this concept would be intentionally bold and striking, as the brand wants to make a statement and not blend in with the crowd.

TYPE
Rough-edged font styles that convey a sense of rebelliousness and non-conformity.

IMAGERY
Dark, bold, confrontational imagery that challenges societal norms. A focus on individual people and groups of all different shades and backgrounds.

TEXTURE
Raw, unpolished materials such as concrete, distressed metal, ripped pages, are used to create a rugged and unrefined aesthetic.
CONCEPT FOUR
The Technologist
Futuristic    |    Organic Tech    |    Intelligent

CORE CONCEPT
The Technologist concept focuses on the future, intelligence, and the harmonious blend of organic and technology. The futuristic and intelligence-focused imagery, combined with the blend of organic and technological elements, would reflect the desire to push boundaries and challenge the status quo. The focus on technology and innovation also speaks to Steven’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve and constantly exploring new and cutting-edge ideas. By emphasizing this technological aspect, this concept would be able to differentiate itself and showcase its unique perspective, setting it apart from other media companies.

COLOR
Sleek shades of silver, deep blues, and reds represent the fusion of man and machine. The color palette is modern and futuristic, conveying a sense of intelligence and innovation.

TYPE
Bold, sans-serif fonts with sleek lines and modern flourishes convey a sense of forward-thinking and cutting-edge technology.

IMAGERY
Futuristic landscapes, high-tech gadgets, and sleek robots are central to the concept’s visual language. Organic elements, such as nature and human forms, are also incorporated to show the harmonious blend of man and machine.

TEXTURE
Smooth, metallic surfaces, circuit boards, and other technological elements convey a sense of innovation and cutting-edge technology. A mix of smooth and rough textures conveys the organic-technological fusion central to the concept.
